What most people do not realise is that Mulit Level Marketing or MLM for short is now being taught in Universities as part of business and marketing. Many "principles" of running a business and therefore building a business are the same in a conventional/traditional business as they are in MLM. By "principles" I mean that dreaded word..."Work". The difference only being in "how" the product or services are put out into the market place.
A lot of people see MLM as a scam or get rich quick schemes or pyramid schemes. However, in any business, be it the conventional corner store, plumber, builder, doctor, a service business etc or MLM, all business's need "people" to succeed. Therefore to be successfull in both business's....he who talks or does the most amount of advertising to talk to people wins and this is what is called the "work" part. So, there is no difference in owning a conventional traditional business to starting in a Multi Level Marketing business except for one. .... The Start Up cost or financial investment.
The conventional traditional business can cost you hundreds of thousands of dollars...and thereby we lose our dream.
The Multi Level Marketing business can only cost you $50 to $120 (depending on the company and country you start)....and you can amass a fortune.

Yes, definitely people can start their own business with little investment. Before taking any step to sign the agreement he has to check for some policies and procedures which are very much important to avoid getting into the mlm scam. Person can easily identify by reading policies and procedures and he can decide what will be his next step.
